Run under management for many years, the hotel is a unique, hard-to-find opportunity for an owner-operator to breathe life into this incredible opportunity.

"Juandah Hotel-Motel" is Wandoan's only pub, nestled in the center of the quiet country town. Here you'll find locals, travelers, and workers alike. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a cold drink, a delicious meal or stay a while at this friendly country pub. Wandoan is a country town situated on the historic Leichhardt Highway between Miles and Taroom in South West Queensland. While you're here, be sure to stop in at Waterloo Plain Environmental Park, read up on the story of local hero; Mick the Cattle Dog, and spend some time at the Juandah Historical Site. LATEST PROJECT NEWS - 11 August 2022
Renewable Energy Partners has unveiled plans to develop a 600MW wind farm, with up to 96 wind turbines across 14,000 hectares, its fourth wind farm project in Queensland.

REP is also exploring opportunities to co-locate solar PV and a big battery within the project area, near the town of Wandoan in the Western Downs region.

The project will be built on cattle-grazing land that is also peppered with coal seam gas wells, 400km northwest of Brisbane.

REP chief executive Luke McDonald said working with coal seam gas interests and on a layout plan amenable to landowners and the community, as well as existing gas infrastructure, would be key to the project’s success.

“Allowing landowners to receive multiple income streams from both CSG and renewable energy-related activities and giving back to the local community is a win-win for everyone involved,” McDonald said.

The project aims to create 250 jobs during construction and 22 jobs during ongoing operations.
